SECURITY IN THE ELECTRONIC VOTING SYSTEM

Knowing the electronic ballot box - Security, durability and easy-handling were some of the guidelines adopted in the conception of the electronic ballot box. It is a simple, light and easily storable and transportable machine. It can be plugged directly to the power socket or, in case of power failure, use its internal battery or even connected to an automotive battery.

The electronic ballot box is made up of two micro-terminals (one located in the voting cabin and the other with the voting board representative) which are connected by a 5-meter cable. Externally, the micro-terminals have only a numerical keyboard, which does not accept any command executed by the simultaneous pressure of more than one key. The other external elements are especially designed to be sealed, guaranteeing the inviolability and identification of each ballot box.
